This contract is open to holders of a doctorate in the Humanities and Social Sciences. It is part of the Innovative Light Train" research project of the AMI Digitization and Decarbonization of Rail Transport. The project is being carried out by a consortium of 11 partners, led by SNCF. UMR MATRiS (CY/CEREMA) contributes to the project's team of researchers and teacher-researchers. The aim of the project is to define the contours of a new model for the development of regional fine rail lines. This position is part of a research project focusing on the potential and expectations of a new, light rail transport system.
Remuneration for the position starts at 30,000 euros gross per year, depending on the candidate's experience.
The position is based at CY Cergy Paris Université, on the Campus des Chênes in Cergy Pontoise.

The candidate will be expected to participate in the project's research team. He/she is expected to have a thorough understanding of territorial transport issues, a qualitative approach and an appetite for cross-referencing with quantitative data.
